A look at the Naples Florida homes for sale shows a picture that is far brighter than the same time last year. Year on year sales for every month of 2009 has been much higher than 2008. In July 2009 itself, sales shot up by a significant 40% over last year. This definitely points at a market recovery in terms of buyer interest in the Naples area, which is a fast growth real estate market.
Prices of homes in Naples Florida for sale, however, speak a different story. Prices have dropped so much that they are back to the pre-boom era, prices that were there almost 5 years back! The falling prices have generated a lot of buyer interest, especially because of the great values that these properties offer now.
An interesting fact about the Naples real estate market is that the highest number of sales is accounted for by foreclosed properties. There area a lot of foreclosed properties in the area, especially closer to the workforce districts and these properties have been selling at highly undervalued prices.
Like Naples, homes for sale Bonita as well as Estero have seen a drop in the number of listings, a rise in the number of sales and more competitive pricing. Here also, sales have jumped on the great prices. Foreclosed properties are abundant here as well and have been selling like hotcakes. While sales in all the aforementioned areas have gone down from June 2009, the comparison with July 2008 shows substantial jumps.
